Public Astronomy

The Society places great emphasis on public education and outreach programs. We seek to present astronomy and related sciences to the wider community and inspire our next generations to explore their universe around them.

Our programs include:

• Night Sky Explorer Course
• Public Night Sky Viewing sessions through telescopes provided by members of the Society
• Education and viewing experiences for schools, charitable organisations, youth groups and other community groups.
• Public presentations and workshops.
